Last week our teachers had their own version of Paper-Rock-Scissors March Madness. Games were played. Necklaces were won and lost. Lots of competition occurred! Congrats to our two winners!
Congratulations to the Middle School Girls Soccer Team on their victory yesterday 9-0 over Thomasville Middle. In today's sports, the Middle School Golf Team will travel to Southwick Golf Course (Graham, NC). This is a shotgun start where players will start their round simultaneously on different holes on the course beginning at 3:00pm. Get on the road and pull for the Falcons! Good Luck Today!

The NCLA would like to thank all of our Middle School Winter Sports Student Athletes for a successful season! Each of you put in time and sweat, battled through injuries, and cheered each other on throughout the long season. Girls Basketball and Wrestling each finished with an undefeated Conference schedule earning 1st Place. Boys Basketball had a fantastic season finishing in 2nd Place in the Conference. Our Cheerleaders practiced hard and were there to cheer on the team with their routines. To the Coaches who put in countless hours, coaching, planning, traveling and mentoring our players...we couldn't do it without you! Additionally, we would like to thank all the parent and student volunteers who helped manage scoreboards, the statistics books, provide snacks, work concessions and help cleanup...thank you! Our Middle School Mixed Golf Team will get on the course today at 3:30pm as they travel to Winding Creek Golf Course for their opening match of the season. Varsity Softball will be on the road at Piedmont Classical High School in Greensboro at 6:00pm and Varsity Baseball will face cross town rival Bishop McGuinness away at 6:00pm. Good luck Falcons!

The Spring Sports Season for Middle School got off to a great start yesterday. Middle School Girls Soccer won 7-0 and Middle School Baseball won 17-1 against River Mill. Middle School Softball lost yesterday but has a lot to be proud of with some growth on the mound and good plays in the field!
