NCLA Athletics Update 9/16: Middle School Boys Soccer, Varsity Women's Tennis and Varsity Men's Soccer have all been cancelled for today and have been rescheduled. Several Teams are still on for today. Middle School Girls Volleyball Team hits the road for a Conference matchup with Cornerstone Charter (Away) at 4:30pm. The Varsity Women's Golf Team will be at Grandover Golf Course teeing off at 4:00pm. JV Volleyball is at home against Glenn High School at 5:00pm. Our AP Capstone program is looking for some professional community members to serve as mentors or expert advisors to our students.
Today, 24 of our NHS students dedicated their morning to addressing food insecurity by volunteering with Open Door Ministries, an organization in High Point committed to providing compassionate care to those in need. Their mission is to support the vulnerable in our community by offering essential services such as meals, shelter, and guidance. This effort aligns with our chapter’s new focus of combating food insecurity and supporting families who face hunger daily. We are making a difference! Thanks Mrs Tucker!
